I love survivor shows. I get totally engrossed in almost all of them; Survivorman, Dual Survivor…it seems every other month the Discovery channel is coming out with a new one. One that I can’t stand is Man vs. Wild with Bear Grills. And it’s not for the reason you may think such as being grossed out when he chomps down on a raw fish or endures excruciating temperatures and terrains. The reason is because I heard from a friend that Bear when off camera mows down on granola bars, sleeps in nice settings and in no way embodies the essence of true survival. He seems to have two faces. How does this relate to the healthiest people on earth?
I feel the same way about health advocates. Many of them proclaim to have the fountain of youth if you follow THEIR system. Though when “off camera” their lives are a total contradiction in terms of nutrition and exercise.
It is near impossible to rank someone’s overall health compared to another. There are too many factors to take into consideration. Though I thought it would be fun to rank the top 10 Healthiest People on the Planet from my own view. I did a bit of research and came up with this list. Gary is a renowned talk show host and author of many books. He is a huge believer in dietary supplements and says that since much of our fruits and vegetables have been depleted of nutrients, we have to supplement to stay healthy.
