Welcome to Mad Monday!

Today’s workout is great! You’ll be strengthening your legs and core. For those of you that like to spend 3 hours in the gym to work the legs, you’ll be supremely disappointed. Because this workout is tough! And the best part is that it only takes 6 minutes to do!

The Main Pulse Squat Workout

  • 30 Sec Low Squat Pulses (Feet together)
  • 30 Sec Low Right Plank Circles (Works the core)
  • 30 Sec Low Squat Pulses (Feet a bit wider)
  • 30 Sec Low Left Plank Circles
  • 30 Sec Low Squat Pulses (Feet even wider)
  • 30 Sec High Right Plank Circles
  • 30 Sec Low Squat Pulses (Feet as wide as you can)
  • 30 Sec High Left Plank Circles

The 2 Minute Leg Blaster (Do this as a finisher)

For 2 minutes you’ll be doing squats consecutively among the 4 positions.

Confused? Just follow along in the video!

As always, I’d love to hear what you think in the comments section. 🙂

This looks brutal, I’m going to give it a shot after my deadlifts this week. I could use something to kick my quads’ asses a little more for volleyball.

    Thanks for sharing,

EXCELLENT TODD, YOU HAVE REALLY LEFT OUT ALL THE GUESS WORK AND YOUR WORKOUTS ARE SIMPLE YET EFFECTIVE. I’VE BEEN DOING YOUR 9 MINUTE WORKOUT PROGRAM AND I AM REALLY SEEING THE PROGRESS. FOR MANY YEARS I HAVE TRIED AND SPENT A LOT OF MONEY ON HALF TRUTH WORKOUTS AND HEALTH PRODUCTS BUT YOU ARE ONE OF THE FIRST TO GIVE THE WHOLE PICTURE SIMPLY AND HONESTLY. THANK YOU.

    Todd,

I followed along and got a good work out. I did have to hang onto the desk some to keep me from falling backwards. Yet, I enjoyed the workout. The TRX gives me a little something to hand onto, yet, I will do it without it. When I work on one leg, exercises I use the TRX. Have fun going to Flordia. I watched his video. My body is still really stiff, and I need to get more limber, or flxible.
