Step Ups, Falling Towers and Jumping Jacks: The Ultimate Body Weight Leg Blaster Workout (IBC Day 2/Week4)

Here’s a leg workout that will surely leave you crying.

It is second day of the forth week of the Iron Body 700 Workout Plan.

Today we’ll be doing 3 different exercises:

1. Step Ups Exercise:

With this exercise you’ll want to be sure that you are using your upper leg to pull yourself up. Don’t bounce from the bottom leg. This will totally defeat the point of the exercise.

2. Falling Towers:

Here’s a body weight exercise that you probably have never seen before. It blasts the quads like no body’s business. IMPORTANT: Make sure that your body stays straight. You will hinge ONLY from the knee joint.

To make it hard you can raise your hands above your head or hold a weight. But I think you’ll find this exercise hard enough without weight.

3. Jumping Jacks:

I added jumping jacks because it is a great overall whole body exercise AND because I would like to show honor to the late Godfather of Physical Fitness: Jack Lalanne (he created the exercise by the way).

I explain how to do each of them more in depth in the video so you’ll definitely want to start there.

Daily Shot of Adrenaline: Strong As A Bull Moose

If you feel like you are battling the mind or losing your toughness remember that you have a strength inside of you that is beyond what you could ever imagine.

Awhile back, our friends over at The Art of Manliness created this video about Teddy Roosevelt. It’s titled “Strong as a Bull Moose” and is really inspirational.

If each of had the mental toughness of Teddy imagine that things that we could achieve.

Let me know if you are struggling with your workouts in any way.

I am here for ya.
