Triangle Sit Exercise is very similar to Downward Dog Pose in Yoga. It works the shoulders tremendously and helps you get a good stretch in your hamstrings.
How to do a Triangle Sit Exercise:
Position your feet about shoulder width apart. Position your hands about shoulder width a part about 3 or 4 feet away from your feet. Straighten both your legs and your arms and stick your butt high into the air. You will look like a triangle in this pose. Hold.
Muscle group worked:
Most of your body but especially your shoulders.
Target Repetitions for Muscle Tone/Endurance: 60 seconds
Why a Triangle Sit Exercise works:
Triangle Sit Exercise works really well because it puts a great deal of pressure on your shoulders. Especially since your arms are straight, your shoulders are doing most of the work to keep your body in this position.
Tips:
Try your best to keep your legs and arms straight. This is very important.
Important!:
Breath in and out slowly throughout this exercise.
“Breath in and out slowly throughout this exercise.” It should be breathe for example:
